Comments
Flows allows users to create Comments on many of our resources including Orders, Runs, and Prep Tasks. These Comments are timestamped and attributed to a user and offers enhanced traceability, accountability, and usability.
What to expect...
In Flows, you can create comments on Orders, Prep Tasks, Runs, and Model Library records. In each record you will see a familar comments section as shown below.
In additon to simple text comments (Markdown supported for formatting), you can Mention other users (triggering an email notification to be sent their way), Assign comments to a user as a Comment Action, and record your progress on Comment Actions as you start and finish them.
Your Piece pages have also been enhanced with a Comments summarizing area to show all of the Comments made related to the the Piece throughout it's entire production journey. This increases the Traceability of all of the micro-decsisions that keep your factory turning.
In the QR App...
Comments can also be accessed and created when viewing a Run in the QR app. Simply click the comment icon on the right half of the screen to open the Comments dialogue. Note: You can also toggle on viewing the Order comments for pieces in the run in case you want to use comments to have the Planning/Engineering team talk to your Production team!
