How to simulate a print?
The Design Streaming has a simulation feature, used mostly to experiment with the API and debug implementations. It's available to all users and developers and it's a bit hidden. Follow these 3 steps to find it:
1) To simulate a print, this first step is to choose what kind of printer you want to simulate. On this example we will choose a Replicator 2. Clic k on the printer, then in Next.
2) Now click 6 times in the "Enter your printer settings" header, highlighted below.
3) After you do that, a "Simulated" port will be added to the Port dropdown box, like the screenshot highlighted below. Choose the Simulated port and click Next to proceed to print.
