Last month Scott Lemmon, Senior Engineer here at Authentise, gave a great presentation at RAPID 2016 about In-Process Monitoring for Repeatability and Quality Assurance in Additive Manufacturing. We managed to capture the presentation for your enjoyment. Unfortunately it starts a couple of minutes in, so don't be surprised if it seems abrupt.

The slides are embedded in the video so you can see them there. The presentation focuses on the future of additive manufacturing by creating a closed-loop system focused on multiple sensors driving a machine learning process controller. Initially the system mimics a human controller but eventually grows beyond this to gain super powers and react to changes in the build process in real time.
