Fly Wheel ⚡️
Quick hello and Happy New Year from the European road trip I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. We made it safely to the heel of Europe, and I’m writing this on a calm morning in nature, standing on top of a Puglian Trulli.

Time to reflect on a year well spent, and the natural momentum the team and the org seems to have experienced – especially in the second part of the year. We left an experiment with engineering collaboration behind (don’t worry, we’re still building on Threads but evolving it in different ways), and got a renewed sense of understanding for our position within the AM community. It’s clear to me now that we help companies and organizations make the most of the technology, and are more flexible than others in doing so.
A good example of that flexibility and working with the customer to make them better was shared by Ari from Ricoh in a webinar he did with us recently. He focused on using the data we liberate from the process to great effect. Super exciting to help him, and to hear how valuable it’s been.
Another set of examples comes from the thousand little updates that the team makes constantly in reaction to the feedback from users. Here is just a small recent selection:
Refreshed Piece Page UI/UX: Our Piece page got its own glow up for the new year! Now featuring a built in 3d Renderer and improved intractability for all of its components. Tracking the digital thread of your pieces has never been easier (or nicer to look at!)

Additional Machine Integrations: We added three exciting types of machines to our Machine Analytics module. We can now connect to your fleet of Bambu X1E’s and we’re excited to share that we’ve connected our first two CNC Machines too (Haas ST-10 and DVF-5000)! We will continue to expand our list of supported machines going into 2026!
Line Items can be toggled back to Pending: We now support users in their need to undo their Line Item Confirmations. If users need to make a change to something before that Line Item starts production, you can now toggle that Line Item back to Pending, make the change you need, and then reconfirm and get on with your production plan.
Workstation Queues Filtering and View Builds: This has been longer coming than I’d care to admit, but we’ve now added filtering and the ability to toggle the view of builds on your Workstation Queues page. This gives you even more control of how you’re viewing and managing your machine’s workloads.
Tables now have configurable layouts and saved filters: Our table views can now be configured to show the columns that you care about and we’ll retain any filters that you’ve set for the next time you view the page. It’s one of those quality of life changes that just sets you up for a good day!
In my Christmas message, I talked about how we would continue to focus on the projects that make customers stronger - so you can expect a lot more of this sort of thing (big and small) over the next year. Our ability to do so is pretty unique. As a company owned nearly entirely by its employees, we’re not beholden to the time pressure of public markets of VC funds. Instead, we get to focus on what is right for the partners and the industry. We’re excited to continue doing so in 2026 🚀.
Happy New Year.
