AI-Driven Reverse Engineering and Qualification

This presentation was presented at AMUG 2026 and argues that reverse engineering and qualification can be dramatically accelerated by combining AI tools with a connected digital workflow: using AI to extract geometry and manufacturing knowledge from legacy drawings and documents, orchestrate qualification steps, auto-generate TDPs, and preserve traceability across the full idea-to-part process. It positions Authentise and Manuven as providing that backbone through tools like Threads, Flows, ThreadsDoc, and the upcoming Whisper platform, with case studies suggesting major time and cost savings while improving transparency, auditability, and readiness.
