A Digital Framework for Additive Manufacturing of Lattice Metamaterials (MetaMat)
Led by Holdson Ltd and funded by Innovate UK, the METAMAT project develops a digital end-to-end framework for designing and manufacturing lightweight metallic microlattices. Integrating advanced simulation, machine learning, and additive manufacturing, it targets high-performance applications in aerospace and automotive industries.

LEAD Factory: Sustainable Digital Manufacturing with Plant-Based Plastics
Led by Photocentric and funded by Innovate UK, the LEAD Factory project pioneers a low-energy, fully digital manufacturing process using functional plastics derived from plant waste. With partners including Authentise, MTC, Unipart, and Games Workshop, the project integrates sustainability, automation, and circularity to build and validate a 3D printer-powered production line as a cleaner, scalable alternative to injection moulding.

Scalable Rule Creation for Smarter Additive Manufacturing
Led by Authentise and funded by Innovate UK, the SAMRCD project developed a digital rule-based system to optimise material workflows and manufacturing parameters in additive manufacturing. By integrating standards, data-driven insights, and real-time alerts into a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), the project improves part quality, material efficiency, and energy use for metal and ceramic 3D printing processes.

Accelerating Digital Supply Chain Integration
Led by Authentise and funded by Innovate UK, the DSCAC project explored how to overcome barriers to adopting fully integrated digital supply chains. By combining research, stakeholder engagement, and testing with partners like JI4C, TWI, and Lloyd’s Register, the project delivered a product roadmap that addresses SME concerns, IP security, and usability—paving the way for scalable, real-world digital supply chain solutions.
