CELEBRATING JUNETEENTH 2025
At Authentise, we believe that true innovation is only possible when built on a foundation of equity, empathy, and community. That’s why this year, in celebration of Juneteenth, our teams in both the US and UK took time to step away from our desks and give back.
Juneteenth - celebrated annually on June 19th - commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. For many, it’s not only a historical milestone but also a moment for reflection, action, and commitment to social justice.
We knew it wasn’t enough to simply acknowledge the day. We wanted to live it.
Volunteering Across Borders
In Philadelphia, our US team partnered with the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), preparing and serving lunch to more than 200 men, women, and children. Down in Florida, teammates rolled up their sleeves for a local beach cleanup.
Meanwhile, across the pond in the UK, colleagues in London volunteered with City Harvest London, sorting, packing, and rescuing surplus food to support local communities. Others supported local efforts in more rural areas - from litter-picking and helping out at a local school, to volunteering at the MAEDT Community Pantry in Mayfield, supporting the incredible work they do to build stronger, more resilient communities.
Juneteenth may be a uniquely American holiday, but the values it represents - justice, freedom, and dignity - resonate worldwide. We were proud to stand in solidarity, across time zones and borders.
Why It Matters
At Authentise, we automate workflows - but we never automate our values. We know that creating equitable technology means creating an equitable workplace and world. Celebrating Juneteenth through service is one way we hold ourselves accountable.
We're grateful to every team member who stepped up and showed up. You helped us turn intention into impact.
